Just your average journal entry.

Hey guys, been a while since I updated, so here goes. I'm up in North Bay, a small city in Northern Ontario at University. Everything's going really great, my marks and stuff are mediocre, but I'm trying and having a good time while I'm at it. I have two essays due Monday, and I'm so not prepared for that. But everything's a lot of fun. I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but I changed my program from math to psych, and it's really interesting. I especially love learning about the nature vs. nurture debate. History is deadly boring though. I have to write an essay about Pontiac and Tecumseh, my opinion? No thank you, I wish the Native Americans hadn't effected history so much, that way I wouldn't have to write about them. I wanted to write about Laura Secord, but I couldn't find any information. Oh well. Well, that's it for the update. I hope you all are doing well!

North, North and more North

Just a little less than a month to go and I'll be off on my way to the next level in my education. I've finally graduated from the hell that is high school and I'm going off to University, I'm leaving around August 30th, and I'm stoked. Nervous as I thought I'd be at this point, I'm super excited. Perhaps I'm a bit swamped with things to do before leaving, but even then, every little thing, even buying towels, has been exciting. I'll miss my friends of course, but I'll try to visit when I can. I'll be four hours (by car) away from my home town, but not all my friends are staying there anyways. I'll miss my family, but I feel ready to part from them. Of course I'll keep in contact with them, but I'm prepared to make this step in my life. I'm going to Nipissing University to get my bachelor of arts in Psychology and my bachelor of education. It's a five year program, so I'll be in school longer than most, but it will be worth it. So, I don't know if I'll be on dA a lot while I'm gone, I don't really update often as it is, as for CoF, I'll make it a point to check up on everything every Tuesday, I take my duty quite seriously. Anyways, that's all for now.

So, it's been months since I've updated my journal. Um, nothing much has been going on with me, I've been you know, attending class. Going to work, playing Frisbee, trying to get out as often as I can to take photographs, so hopefully I'll have new ones up soon. I still have stuff from ages ago I haven't even weeded through yet. I'll try my best to do all that stuff, and because of one of my courses, Writer's Craft, I have a bunch of new work to post, but it may have to wait until after the semester is over because of the whole, turnitin.com thing, where they make sure it isn't plagiarized, and they'll think it is if it's up here. My dad had surgery recently, but he's doing okay, so that's good. I got into all my Universities, and next year I'll be heading off to North Bay come September, one step towards becoming a teacher. So, that's the coles notes version, hope you guys are all having a grand time!

Which is why I am currently enrolled in three math courses, the only university level ones you can take. I actually really like math, I want to be a math teacher when I get older. For grades 6-8, 'cause high school students are scare (I would know.). But yeah, school started about two weeks ago, I've got first period spare, so I get to sleep in, which is nice. Then I have Advanced Funtions, and in the afternoon I have Data Management and English, which are all courses with heavy homework loads, but I kind of just don't do my homework, so that solves that problem. So yeah, that's my day to day life, those are the 'good' parts, yippee. Well, I suppose there is a bright side, instead of saving my money for...you know, useful things, I decided to buy CD's, and that makes me happy...so yeah. I bought a BUNCH of CD's, like, 25 probably. And...that's all...bye?

It's been a while since I've updated, so here goes nothing. I was on 'vacation' with my mother for the past week, we went to Allegany State Park and Letchworth State Park...excuse my terrible spelling. Letchworth was pretty awesome, three waterfalls, expect pictures soon. I'm going to a concert tomorrow, for which I am completely stoked, allthough, they don't allow you to bring water in, which pisses me off, because water costs nearly $4 a bottle at the Molson Amphitheatre. All in all summer has been pretty good, but I can't wait to get back to school and see all my friends again, I could do without the school part though, I took summer school this summer, and dropped it because it sucked, I mean, who wants to be in school over the summer? Nobody, so why the hell did I sign up by choice? Beats me, hence the drop. Hope every one else is having a good summer! Wel, I'm off to bed. [Yeah, it's early-ish, but I have a long day tomorrow.] Peace!
